New Years Eve - Queenstown

hi there, 3 mates and myself are travelling to wellington on the 26th of Dec04 and making our way down to the south island on the 29th of Dec trekking through hamner springs and christchurch for a nite each and making our way too QUEENSTOWN for 4 nites until the 5th Jan 05. We are all 24yrs old and looking to have a good time as well as taking the South Islands beautiful country side. We were told that Queenstown was the best place to be for New years eve as far as being around people more our age (younger adults!) is this true? Would love to get replys on where the best places to go are in Queenstown for a fun night, especially for New years!! thanks kris _________________ 24 male Perth = travelling to New Zealands South Island for 9nites with 3 mates from 26th of Dec 04 - 5th of Jan 05.
