Hi,
anybody going to the South Island coming December? I'd like to connect from Lewis Pass to the Nelson Lakes. I have no exact route yet, but if conditions allow I plan for about 7 to 9 days in the period from December, 10 to 20.

Hi, not a lot of responses so far. This is franz again.
My plans have changed a little: The idea would be to start from St. Arnaud along Lake Rotoiti, over Travers Saddle, down the West Sabine valley and out.
Starting date should be around December, 11th or 12th, due out the 19th and on to Nelson. Sounds like it? Drop a message!
