| Hi everyone, i just want to ask about something... Presently, my wife works here in New Zealand as a Clinical Audiologist, and i'm working as a caregiver, we both have working Visa's. We wish to apply for residency in New Zealand so my bridging course (Nursing Registration) would be much cheaper. Do you guys have any idea where we should start, and what documents do we need for our New Zealand Residency Application? |

www.immigration.govt.nz or better yet go to your nearest immigration office. |

hello po gusto ko lang po ask ung advice nyo when it comes to working as a caregiver dyan sa new zealand.
newly grad nurse po ako ngaun and cuurently reviewing for my ielts... i know already all the requirements kung gusto ko maging RN po dyan sa new zealand...
madali po bang maging care giver diyan and how to apply?.. kasi i want to open my chances kung di man ako palarin sa ielts ko... malaki po ba ang chance kong maging immigrant kung care giver ako dyan? magkaano po ang salary ng isang care giver dyan per annum?

sad to say that you have no chance of securing Permanent Residency if you work as a caregiver. You need to register and work as a RN ,
(since your qualification is a nurse) to be able to apply for Permanent Residency. |

He's right. Caregivers are not classified as skilled employment nor is it part of the long term or short term skills shortag list.
Try to study harder on your IELTS instead. Good luck on your forthcoming exams. |
