my wife is waiting for her wtr, na interview sya ni frances wu last month. ask ko lang how soon pwede ma process ang application ko at ng anak namin after she gets a job in new zealand?
yung sa kanya lang muna kasi inuna namin pero declared kami sa application nya. sya kasi principal applicant kasi meron sya sister sa auckland.

phil,
ang alam ko, only PR and NZ citizens or a legit company can sponsor someone/people (e.g. family) to come to new zealand.
in ur case, as u are not included although declared in the original application of your wife, i think you will have to wait that your wife becomes eligible by NZ law, to sponsor you and ur child.
if it is wtr, your wife will get residency if she is able to get a job related to her profession/skills as per her WTR application. Kung resident na siya, eligible na /puede ka na niya i sponsor.
this is just my opinion- maaring mali ako.
others may have a different opinions.
iba kasi ang situation mo dahil normally, family lahat kasali sa application.
well, all the best.
para mablis ang family sponsorship later on, i prepare mo na ngayun pa lang mga documents proving your long-term and stable relationship (pictures, letters, bills na pareho kayo ng address, affidavits ng ibang tao na talagang mag asawa at nagsasama kayo, joint bank accounts/ joint credit cards, etc. (include those oldest documents to the most current).

as to the specific time frame (i guess ito ang gusto mo malaman), the wtr ngayon up to 9 months lang yata kung di ako nagkakamali.
ibig sabihin, the wtr visa will allow ur wife to be in NZ for nine months (or kung ilang buwan nakalagay sa visa once natanggap na ito)
within which dapat makahanap siya ng work na related sa skills niya. Pag may job na, puede na siya apply ng residency.
kung hindi siya makahanp ng skill-related, uwi siya ng pilipinas which happened to some that I knew in recent past.
