Hello I need some help and advice,I am working here at South Canterburry New zealand as a Telecomm tech. I arrived here this May ,2008 as a skilled migrant. And I want to have a Residence Visa. Im already submitted my EOI and received an ITA. My score is 115. Do i have a chance to have my Residence visa?I only have a PAR Level 6 and havent had the full asessment of NZQA. I hope you can advice me what to do. Thanx

| I arrived here with a working visa with a accredited employer. actually when I passed my EOI my score is 165. And i recieved my ITA 2 days ago. Ive checked my application and i think i dont have a 50 points in QUALIFICATION area because my school was not included in the LRQ ,so i need a NZQA full assesment,I have a PAR but will it be enough?. So if i pass my application do i need to make some changes and state the changes to the ammendments form? Or pass it with 165 points and wait for the VO to advise me to have NZQA assesments? Please advice. Thanks |

i think the required docs that you'll need to submit will be stated in the ITA letter. If it says you need a full NZQA assessment, then that's what you should submit. If you don't, they might not accept your application.
i don't think it's going to be difficult for you to apply for residence since even if you lose 50 points, your remaining points (115) will still be good enough. you also have a working visa and an employer so that means you have enough proof that proves you're skilled and that you're not going to be a liability to the NZ govt. |
