Hello po,
i just want to ask if there's anybody here in the forum tried to have a short vacation first in australia before going to NZ. kasi po yung flight ay sa sydney ang stop over, so naisip ko pwede ba yun na dumaan muna for 2 days at bisitahin ang relatives beofore going to auckland? under po kami ng wtr6.salamat po.. |

If your planning to stop in Australia to visit your relatives before heading to your final destination which is, in your case, New Zealand, you can apply for a transit visa 771 for Australia in the Philippines before you leave the Philippines. This visa allows you to enter and remain in Australia for up to 72 hours. You can get an application form from Australian Embassy and this visa is free of charge. I hope this information helps.

| thanks for the response. it's nice to know that transit visa is for free. were planning to visit my sister in law for 3 days before landing to auckland, again salamat po.. |
