I was applied by my agent too with general work policy visa. I am a nurse and they had an agreement with an NZ employer to sponsor us as a health care assistant since our application in the Nursing council is taking too long. I have a job offer and mine was just lodged in yesterday. Do you have an idea if this is feasible and has a high chance of approval? May nadedeny ba? How long does we usually wait? I am very anxious really... thanks for your info.. Very Happy

Hi! Please take note that the days they mentioned is "working days" so there would be 5 days in a week. I was informed 7 working days after they received my application.

it is not a good idea to keep on calling the NZ embassy. if you have sent your application properly, just wait for an email or posted letter from them.

NZIS processes hundreds if not thousands of applications. do not piss off anyone of the visa officers by pestering them with so many calls. asking for the name of your VO is not a good move either. you're not supposed to ask this from NZIS.

let them do their job. and you do yours - that is wait!

your application is just as important as anyone else.
