| Just to show you that life in NZ is I think much better than in the Philippines, there’s a family from a very well known clan in the Philippines (theirs is a household name), who still migrated here because the parents would like their children to have a normal life. They gave up their very comfortable life in exchange for all these hard work that we all do here. Now they don’t have drivers, (plural yan ha!), yayas, maids & cooks. What’re their line of work here? The last I heard, husband and wife were working as customer service officers in government offices. I am not sure now where they work, been a year since I last head about them. Here, the parents don’t have to worry over their kids’ safety, in the Philippines they need at least one bodyguard. Here they can go anywhere without any worries. |

Can't help but smile when I saw your post. Hope everything is going great for your family in Auckland. I have since last year moved to Taupo where I got my relevant job, and I could say this place is my family's paradise.
I frequent this forum because this is the first one where I got the information that had been a great help to me in the migration process back in 2005. |

Hi Hane,
I know how beautiful Taupo is, kaya nga at least once a year dumadaan kami dyan to see the serene lake of Taupo. Malapit na naman siguro kami pumunta dyan kasi my kids wants to go to Mt. Ruapehu ulit this school break.
It's nice to hear that you're enjoying your stay there. Dito nga sa Auckland talaga dami ng tao, sometimes it makes you think na mag move, but the good thing particularly here in Glenfield, is that ang DAMING PINOY. Sa tingin ko nga North Shore ang pinamadaming Pinoy population sa NZ
This forum really has helped a lot of Pinoys in setting our foot here in NZ. Kaya nga this blog will always have a place in my heart. |

guys ask ko lang, is six(6) months really enough to find work in new zealand (prefer sana auckland)and process residence appli?
we just received a wtr invite from frances wu pero six months lang, deadline for us to send final wtr appli is sept06. para kasi panget ng timing, going into the holiday season na sabi ng madami is mahirap maghanap ng work.
should we delay submitting until the last week? better ba if pareho na kami agad pumunta or wife ko muna?
my wife (promary applicant) is a food technologist, am into sales naman.
please inputs naman. ty |
