HI to all!

I have some questions regarding my ITA.. (oh BTW, i got my ITA finally!)

In the letter it says that I should meet the NZQA level 7 qualification inorder to be granted a Visa..

Is this normal? Were you also required for a level 7 NZQA to be qualified for a visa?

Thanks.

Anne

it has become a standard requirement to have at least level 7 in nzqa qualifications to ensure that migrants are indeed skilled. otherwise, unskilled migrants will simply take away jobs which unskilled locals can do.

Oh I get it now..
After reading (and studying) all documents sant to me, I understand why I was asked to have a full NZQA assessment..

It just so happened that I claimed bonus points in Areas of Absolute Skill Shortages. And to prove that I must meet their equivalent NZ qualification for ITs.. that is, I must be a Comp Sci graduate and with level 7.

whew!

you can claim points only if you meet the conditions set forth in the next column right after the category of skills/profession/job in the list. check it out.

you can search on NZIS 1093 form in the NZ site and make sure it matches the 4th column requirements of your qualifictaion.

Hope this helps!

ibig sabihin niyan u were not able to meet their requirements to claim bonus for absolute skilled shortage .., im sorry.

Aside from being a graduate of accounting, dapat u should likewise be a member of NZICA.

Dont worry too much coz 10 points lang naman yan.. Im sure you can get that from other areas of entitlement.

Cheers!
