| Hey guys, my partner lodged an application for a visitor visa under the partnership policy. the courier picked up the documents on 01 April 2008. My question is how long does it usually take for immigration new zealand manila branch to process this type of application? I'm quite worried kasi binayaran na namin yung ticket nya for the 18th April. Can anyone give me an answer please. IF I call the call centre, will they have any information about the progress of the application? |

| Yes, 7 days lang ang processing. I suppose by now na-receive nyo na. You didn't have to purchase the ticket prior to visa application. Pwede itinerary lang from a travel agency. |

wala pa rin hanggang ngayon eh. yun nga sabi sa website, 7 days lang daw pero nag email sakin yung visa officer sabi 30 days or more daw. ewan ko kung ano totoo. ang sungit pa, gusto ko nga awayin eh kasi napa ka impolite. ganun talaga pag Filipino yung visa officer. ang mga puti naman mabait, and they treat u with respect and they're very polite. hay naku. |

Hindi nga sila pwedeng awayin coz you don't want to get on their offside. Baka lalong i-delay ang processing ng papers. Nakalagay nga sa website that they aim to process the visa within 7 working days but if it will take longer, they will advise you within 7 working days.
I went thru the process of visit visa based on partnership and in less than 7 days nakuha ko ang passport with visa. Magkaiba lang tayo ng visa officer.
Meron ding puting visa officer na medyo mataray. Mabait pag answer ng phone but they become defensive when you seek clarification regarding their decision on your visa. |

Applied for my visa July 2007 and received my visa on October 2007 because of my medicals. Yes, I have complete documents.
Hang on tight and let the visa officer do his/her work. |
