Noon pwede mong gawin yan pero ngayon kasi naghihigpit ang immigration kaya kung alam nila na nagtu-tourist visa ka with the intention of looking for work, denied application mo or worse, pauuwiin ka kung nasa nz ka na. |

try going to www.seek.co.nz , it is the largest job site here in nz.
also try googling other job sites for new zealand.
most importantly, go to www.immigration.govt.nz if migrating to new zealand is really for you.
good luck! |

WAG KANG PUMUNTA DITO SA NZ AS TOURIST IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR JOBS.kAHIT MAY TOURIST VISA KA NA,HINDI UN GUARANTEED NA MAKAPASOK KA SA NZ.MARAMI TANONG EVEN IF YOU JUST ENTERING ON PLANE.LALO NA PAGDATING MO SA AIRPORT,MARAMI TANONG,KUNG HINDI KA MAKASAGOT AT SUPICTIOUS,PABABALIKIN KA NILA KUNG SAAN KA GALING.
AKO NGA MAY WORK VISA AND PERMIT AKO DITO,HIRAP PA RIN MATANGGAP SA WORK KASI KELANGAN NILA NZ WORK EXPERIENCE,ACCOUNTANT AKO SA PINAS PERO LA PA ME WORK,HEHE.TRY KO NGA SALES LADY PERO HARD PA RIN,HEHE
OK GOODLUCK |

Plenty of jobs available... NZ has one of the highest concentration of Cafes in the world!
but thats only if you want a quick job.. We also have a very high amount of Temp agency's.. a friend of mine got a very good job shortly after moving to NZ. _________________ Steven

Does the quick cafe jobs and temp jobs you are referring to enable a person on a tourist visa to acquire a permanent resident visa? |

| This is a good question of Levi. Can anybody answer it. OR maybe i'll just ask if there's any possibilities that a person holding tourist visa can also get a WP as long as she/he had experience on temp job.[/code] |

Hi,
I agree with Levi, don't take your chances on a tourist visa. Although there have been success stories of people having a tourist visa. I know 2 people who have been granted of a tourist visa just this year, and has found a job. Now if you have a lot of money and nothing to loose, bahala ka. But the 2 people I know have in-demand skills. Any locals here can work in a Cafe. And the agencies Private Box is saying require you to have a work visa. Eh ako nga WTR Visa nahirapan ako maghanap nang trabaho with the agencies. How can an agency represent you without proper visas???? Unless you're really good and the company will support you. The other tourist I know paid an agency there for $5,000.00 just to represent her. Again if you can afford, then your choice. But it is not recommended.

| very interesting but very sensitive as well.. if you apply for a visitors permit to NZ, the forms will ask you what you intend to do in NZ? if you say you are planning to work, your chances are very very slim if not, not at all.. if you say you just wanna visit a friend or family or relatives, the form will also ask you how long you intend to be in NZ? if you only mean to visit, most likely you will be given a LPV (limited purpose visa) which means you have to go back to your port of origin on or before your permit expires. Supposing you have found a employment offer here NZ, Immigration will still make you go back to your port of origin and apply for your conversion in the nearest INZ branch there. This is the condition of LPV's. If you are highly skilled, your potential employers may be willing to support you all the way until you re-enter NZ but if its just a cafe job that anyone from the streets can be trained to do it, i doubt you would be successful. you can find more information if you visit the immigration website. www.nzis.govt.nz |

Hello to anyone;
I just got a job offer to a new zealand tattoo shop as a tattoo artist from Philippines. But my employer and me doesn't have any idea on what's next step to do. I've read a lot of immigration requirements and got confused about it. Will I apply for work visa or permit?? How long will this be process and how much will it cost???
Also if i apply for a tourist visa, and in new zealand apply for a work permit, is that more applicable/possible/faster? please email reply at bathala_t2@yahoo.com. thanks |
