Hi all just a couple of probably stupid questions.

1. Can my wife work if we get a family visa in my name?

2. Will electrical items from the UK work in NZ? e.g. tv's, computers etc.

I am not sure about your visa question, you really need to contact the immigration department ( http://www.immigration.govt.nz/ ), yeah most electrical items will work (240 volts) you just need to pick up plug adaptors (might be easier to purchase some up in the UK - we have the same plugs as Australia) , TV's I am pretty sure they won't get terrestial TV, but will work with SKY digital.
