Hi hope someone will answer this question my husband and i are planning to migrate in NZ, are we able to find a job right away, to support our financial needs when we get there  ? thanks. |

hi vinceaki,
It all depends on your qualifications.
IT people are in demand in NZ as of today, particularly programmers and developers (JAVA, Oracle to name a few).
Searching for a job here is very different from the Philippines. Most of the time, you have to go thru an agency and they will be the one looking for an appropriate job for you. You can look at newspapers for job opening or ask friends.
What is best is to look for a job that will help you facilitate to secure your PR.

Hi Rey and Jenny,
Hope you still remember me, we once exchanged emails when we're still in the Philippines. I remember you're from La Trinidad Benguet. I'm from DPS Compound Baguio City. We just arrived in NZ last week and we're staying with a friend in Glenfield North Shore Auckland. Hope we could meet one day during your day-off.
