Good Day. I'm planning to go to new zealand and I'm a registered Nurse. However I only got 4 months unpaid training. We call it here as residency training. Nowadays its hard to get an experience here in Phil because Volunteers are not allowed anymore.
Considering I only got a 4 month experience as a nurse, will NZ approve me for a students visa?
What is the main purpose of a students visa? Is it an alternative for those people who does not have enough experience?

Please read IF registered nurse ka sa pinas at balak mag-apply bilang nurse sa NZ:
1. The NZ nursing council WILL NOT allow you to register as a nurse if you don't have atleast 12months of PAID work experience as a nurse
2. Volunteer work/ OJTs are NOT accepted as work experience
3. If you have atleast 12months paid work experience, you need to apply to take the bridging course from registered universities here in NZ ~ Make sure you get approval from the nursing council BEFORE you try applying/ enrolling at a university.
4. If you're applying to get into a bridging course, it would be easier if you apply at universities outside auckland (baket? dahil sobrang dami kumukuha dito sa auckland ng bridging course).
Note: HINDI nyo kelangan mag agency, dahil hindi naman mababago ng agency ang requirements ng nursing council!
WALANG short cut sa pagiging NZ registered nurse IF wala kang required na PAID WORK experience!! WALA!
Choice mo lang is either maghintay until meron ka na experience, then apply ka to do the bridging course OR magsimula ka ulit sa FIRST YEAR nursing course sa NZ University.
Please don't listen to agencies na ang daming sinasabi na options sa inyo. They can give you promises PERO best is to call the NZ Nursing council to make sure. Gagastos kayo ng konti sa long distance pero hindi naman kayo maloloko. Bow! |
