I am new to this forum. I was able to browse www.tambayang-pinoy.com and I think this a great service to your kababayans. I think the cost is affordable and just right. I can't say anything more with the location, I cannot see any ugly picture of NZ, or Auckland for that matter. Great information provided. Nice photos posted. Good to mention the total area of the room. Also, good to post more pictures, especially of hte neighborhood.
I just submitted my family's EOI last week and hopefully received ITA soon. I don't have any job offer yet so this type accommodation is what I am really eyeing for. This is what my friends in Singapore do. And I'm so happy that you are doing this in NZ.
By the way, do you happen to know or can refer any places in Wellington. You might have a sister-place... Thank you |

Hi, Zanzemaj.
Thank you for visiting the website and giving constructive feedbacks. I will try to update my website with new info and more photos.
I'm sorry to infor you, though, that I have no sister-house in Wellington. As described, Tambayang-Pinoy Accommodation is just an experimental and aimed to help kababayans, but it's a lot of work. I don't think I can do it if the houses are not stone's throw away from where I live.
However, I suggest to shout in Pinoyz2nz blog as some Filipinos who are already settled in Wellington offers a room for any kababayans who just arrived.
Goodluck with your application, and welcome to Backpack-newzealand.
Cheers,
Tia Maria |
