hi dir23, you know why the first time i applied for a tourist visa, they granted me only 2 weeks LPV (Limited Purpose Visa) or express purpose of short familiarization tour which i failed to make it. i tried again for the 2nd time(denied) and the 3rd time (also denied)... COMMENTS ON MY DENIAL: - The reason given for the proposed period of my visit in New Zealand (not convenced) - The strength of family ties in the Philippines and New Zealand (if any), - The nature of my financial, personal, employment and other commitments in the Philippines, - Any circumstances that may discourage the application from returning here in the Philippines at the end of my stay, and the very first reason was, i did not utilize the (2) two weeks visa granted to me at the first time, that's the BIG problem.

Hi Jinkee,
I plan to consult you. Please email me, I would like to email you my personal details. I am interested in either applying EOI or going thru a visitor's visa.

Our background is in the field of education - the principal applicant having over 10 years educ experience, with master's degree from a recognized university, age a little less than 50 Laughing

We have some friends in NZ who may be able to give us an invitation and can host our visit, but they are not relatives.

Hope to contact you soon.

Best to you.
Dawn

hi jinky, i would like some opinion on my application for an extended stay over my visitors visa. I only lodged it last week and was informed tha it takes 4 weeks to get a decision by immigrations. My visa will expire before that period, if I wait for that decision theni would be staying illegally or not?

kind regards,

jero

I didnt see Jinky reply. But for everything else, always contact www.immigration.govt.nz. All the infos you need is there. Else, there are a lot of threads here discussing your various issues. Be wise, be educated, and be vigilant.
