It is said that I can get 15% discouts if I am a backpacker cardholder on magicbus's website.

I now live in guangzhou, China.

How can I apply a backpacker menbership card?

You can purchase BBH online, http://www.bbh.co.nz/bbh_clubcard.asp not sure about VIP http://www.vip.co.nz/
