Hello, i am a school nurse here in the philippines, and would like to migrate in New Zealand with my family. I just got an overall band score of 7 in IELTS ( 7.5 listening and reading; 6 in speaking and writing ) last week.

Is there any possible way in which i can work there as a caregiver for the start? i think, there's a lot of things to do before i can work as a nurse in NZ.

Please give me advices that would help me find a work there in NZ.

Thanks

Nightingale

Hi nightingale, I have know nurses here who approach agencies there in Cavite and Cebu. They did not go for the SMC thing but were here for 6 weeks schooling, registered here with the NZ regulation , got a job and now applying for immigrant. I think this is the easiest and fastest way

email me at rtg4@waikato.ac.nz and I would try to ask my nurse-friend about the name of the agency
