HELLO EVERYONE,
I'm Mary Florilyn Tan and currently Asst.Manager for a Financing Firm here in the Philippines. My husband is in the Agricultural Industry and we both have one thing in common. We both want to work and live in New Zealand hopefully before my daughter finish High School. Does anyone know of any agency that offer efficient service and at a reasonable rate. You know how tight money is here in the Philippines. I am highly qualified for any job in the banking/business industry but I can be a fruit picker too. If thats whats needed for my children to have good education. Please reply anyone.
God bless you all!!!!!!! |

JINKY,
THANKS FOR THE REPLY, YOU ARE INDEED SUCH A NICE PERSON, WISH WE COULD MEET LATER, WHEN I GET TO GO TO NEW ZEALAND SOIL. THANKS FOR THE INFO. I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO APPLY THROUGH THOSE WEBSITES BUT THEY KEEP REPLYING BACK TELLING ME TO TRY IT OUT IN NEW ZEALAND FOR AT LEAST 3 WEEKS COZ ITS FAST TO GET A JOB IF YOU ARE THERE PERSONALLY. TIME IS RUNNING OUT FOR MY DAUGHTER, SHE'D BE GRADUATING NEXT YEAR AND HERE I AM STILL SEARCHING AND SEARCHING. MAYBE I'D GO AS A TOURIST AND FIND WORK THERE PERSONALLY. IS THAT POSSIBLE. JINKY THANKYOU AGAIN AND I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU. MY EMAIL ADD: florilyn@yahoo.com. GOD BLESS YOU.

hi mary,
maybe your husban should try applying already since nz is really in urgent need of skilled people inlined with agricultural industries.
but you should consider also his age. i think the maximum qualifying age is 55.
im also trying to have opportunity in nz. maybe u should check some immigration consultancies. at least you can have ideas of the step by step procedure.
i am currently with American Dreams (consultancy). they give free seminars about migrating to nz. compared to others, they dont ask big amount as bond to process your papers. they get their fees in a step by step basis (depending on how far you reach the processing with nz) and quite reasonable amount as well. im also cautious when it comes to paying. times are hard right now.
consultancy gives great help in giving you ideas to migrate, completing your applications but ofcourse, it is still your qualifications to be considered by nz and not the consultancies.
hope i gave u some ideas..

Payong kababayan.. do the application on your own. It's cheaper that way. How? First, read the requirements and procedures at www.immigration.govt.nz. Second, look for other pinoys who are in the same boat as you. This forum is great a great source of info.
Sister, sa totoo lang, if you don't have unuasual circumstances, the process is not complicted. I know a lot of Pinoys who are doing it on their own and they're doing ok. Kaya mo yan.

agree with jinkee. do it yourself. ang kailangan mo lang tiyaga at mabilis na connection sa internet. ako doctor and so far have been preselected sa eoi and awaiting verification. scheduled to take ielts end of this month which the hospitals/recruiters want before they can finalize contract with me.
marami kang mahahanap sa net. kung may tanong ka, just ask here. we will all be glad to help. tulungan lang talaga. |

hi to all:
pasensya na po, especially to rita. hindi po ako nag aadvertise ng american dreams & di din ako empleyado nila. hindi po talaga. na misunderstood lang siguro ang pagkakareply ko.
at that time kasi, bago pa lang ako sa backpack forum & di ko alam na may yahoo group & individuals na mas knowledgeable about migrating to nz. gusto ko lang namang mabigyan ng idea yung nag iinquire where to have free consultation about migrating to nz. pasensya na.
tulad ng marami, maraming pa akong dapat na malaman about migrating. sana open pa rin kayo sa mga queries ko.
thanks & God Bless.

Mariz,
Its quite alright. Dont mean to be sarcastic. If you look at another thread....American Dreams was reviewed by members of this forum and frankly, it was all negative.
I echo everyone else's sentiments about doing everything yourself. I believe its still the best way. But come to think of it...you wont be alone at this, you have the forums and groups whose members are all willing to help you without asking for a cent...
