| Hi guys. We'll be on our way to NZ in 2mos time. As it is after receipt of our Work Visa (Wtr) last week, we're in the heat of preparations now. We're doing our assignments of course, but what I need help on now (despite having gone thru the customs site) is clarity on duties customs will impose on our meager used personal stuff (we're not bringing boxes just a couple of luggages)particularly electronics like notebooks, printer, playstation, cellphones, etc. Is there a tax on these? Salamat po. |

| Don't quote me but I am sure you only pay tax on new items that are brought into the country. May be the answer is somewhere in http://www.customs.govt.nz/default.htm |
