Hi guys! Just want to share my experience in NZIS Makati yesterday.

For all the applicants for a work visa, under Family Work Policy just take note that NZIS dont accept cash payment for the processing fee. They only accept manager's chk (php) or bank draft ($). I paid php7,800. for my work visa application.

And to make sure that you're not gonna waste your time, pls bring your completed medical & x-ray form/certificate.

And be prompt!!! you should be there at exactly 7am if you want to be the 1st in line!

GOODLUCK TO ALL!!

Hi! Marisol

How did you go about with your application? Did you use a consultant? If you did can you recommend it to me? I am very much interested and planning to migrate with my family.
Thanks

Hi Glo,
I did not have any consultant, I was just working it by myself. And fortunately, after 2 weeks of completing all the required documents and medicals, I'm now waiting for the confirmation of my work visa until this friday. I'm praying hard to get it approved.

If you are very much interested, you can email me directly at solcasinsinan@yahoo.com

God Bless!

Sol

Hi,
My last job was in a Law Office but that was 6 years ago. I was applying for a work visa under Family Policy which does not recommend a job offer. My husband is a work visa holder. So, most of my requirements came from him. It took me almost 2 weeks in lodging my application. I'm waiting now for the confirmation of my visa. The NZIS Makati advised me to wait their call until friday, (within 5days). I'm praying hard now to get it...approved!!

(I'm a graduate of AB Comm Arts at Miriam College)

God Bless,
Sol

Hi,
Well, to those who already got their visas, congrats and goodluck.

I'm still waiting for the confirmation of my visa. I just called NZIS yesterday but prior to that I already e-mailed them last friday but no respond.

Anyway, the lady who answered the phone (it took me an hour to get connected)told me there's no result yet on my visa.

So, you guys who are applying for a work visa under Family Policy I advise you to pls allocate much time on making your itenerary. Estimate carefully from the day you would lodge-in your application to the time of visa release. I suggest, give 2-3 weeks in waiting for the visa confirmation.

And I think I'm having bad timing coz it's Lenten Season, the office will be closed starting this thursday unil monday next week. And supposedly my flight is on the 19th. What can I expect....I have to re-book it ofcourse!

Have a peaceful Holidays!!!

Marisol

Question lang po to Marisol and all others that have experience getting a working visa.

1. Sang hospital accredited kumuha ng completed medical & x-ray form/certificate? Magkano? Will this certificate be acceptable to POEA na rin (their medical req't to get a clearance)?

2. How and where can i have a manager's chk or bank draft, lets say meron akong cash?

Hi Artanys,
Here are the lists of NZIS' accredited panel of Doctors:

* Drs Josephina Poblete, Fideles-Quiza -Velez General Hospistal (Cebu City)

* Drs Diana Peralta and Perry Peralta - P&D Peralta Medical Clinic, 14th Flr Jaka Bldg, 6780 Ayala Ave. Makati City

* Drs Redentor Asis, Jerry Te Sy, Dionisio Tui, Judith Gapasin - Saint Luke's Medical Center Extension Clinic, 1177 J.Bacobo St., Ermita

* Dr Pearl Singh-Timbol - Suite 304, Midland Mansion, 839 Arnaiz Street

* Dr Marilyn Periodico - Nationwide Health Systems, Inc, Medical Plaza Makati, Unit 905, 9th Flr, Amorsolo St. Cor. dela Rosa St., Legaspi Vill, Makati

* Dr Parkash Mansukhani - Davao Doctors Hospital and

* Dr Julie Cabato - 2nd Flr, Rillera Bldg, 7 Dagohoy St., Bagiuo City

But I advise you to take your Medical at Saint Luke's. Accomodations are good and the result is fast. Initial payment is 8,000. pesos. If there will be no problem occurs during medical exam, that's all the cost. You can have your medical certificate within 3days. They will supply you all the medical forms, all you have to do is to fill it up.

I hope these info will help....

Hi to all,

I just received an e-mail from the V.O. assigned to me today. She advised me to make a re-booking of my flight....and asked me to submit addional documents such as family photos and e-mail exchanges with my husband, deadline is on April 26. But I would submit these documents early tommorow to make the processing faster.

I'm hoping I would have my work visa within this month.

Goodluck to all of us! Always pray guys.

Marisol

Hi Marisol,

Sorry for being slow again ma'm. I'm just confused why it takes 2 weeks to lodge your application? When i initially read your thread, i was under the assumption that you already lodge your application online before going to NZIS makati. I mean, i thought the step for work visa is to bring your docs and cheque(application form downloaded online, manager's chk/bank draft as payment for the processing, police clearance and medical certs, and ofcourse the job offer) at NZIS makati. Then a V.O. will entertain you, then wait for 2 weeks. I think I'm missing the whole process (ideal sequence of steps for work visa) ma'm. Kindly guide my confusion when you find the time. Smile

I will join you in praying for your work visa to be approved as early as possible. I'm positive it will. Smile

Hi Artanys,

Well, actually I came in NZIS really no idea of what do I have to bring. I only had the filled-up application form which I downloaded and the documents which sent to me by my husband such as copies of his working contract, medical insurance, tax #, passport and visa, even his tenancy agreement with his Landlord. I just came there by myself on March 26 only to know that I needed to bring na my medical certificate. So, they gave me the list of the accredited doctors. My medicals took almost 1wk because of my repeat urinalysis and treatment. So, when it was over, I immediately came back again in NZIS on March 31 and that was only the time they accepted my application. And from that time, I only heard feedback from my V.O. on Apr 17 (bad timing kasi Lenten Season)advises me to re-book my flight on a later date and to submit additional documents nga. And she noted that work visa processing usually takes 45 working days. So, that's it!!

I have never apply thru on-line application.

Anyways, it's faster and easier to get in NZ if you go thru an employment agency here which offers job. They are responsible for all the processing stuffs, because they have direct offers from employers in different places. And the good thing there, NZIS would give you multiple work visa which is a great advantage coz if you wish to transfer to another job after your contract (usually 2-3yrs contract)it would be much easier. And if you wish to bring your immediate family right away, there's no problem with them. They will assist you all the way, with the corresponding processing fee (salary deduction too).

What can you say...are you enlightened a bit...hehehe so much for this!

Thanks for the encouragements huh!

God Bless,
Marisol
