hi! greetings!
got my nzqa result and granted level 7. was selected last sept. 14, 2005. my IELTs score is only 6.5.. cant make it through teachers council coz they required IELTS of straight 7... but i sent a letter inquiring what they can advise me on this problem.. still waiting for their reply..

mesann,
hi! i'm applying also with my BF, i'm currently taking masters in SPED. I used to teach in preschool. Do I need to take IELTS talaga and get 7pts to pass? i graduated in UP and taking masters in UP now.
for now, my BF will take PAR because his school is not in the list. do we need to take IELTS ba talaga kahit may certificate na from school that the medium of instruction is english?
where did you took your IELTS po? thanks...
I'd like to hear more updated opinions, ideas, news po kasi about migrating to NZ, especially from teachers.

mavi,
don't take the ielts yet. i am from up also. just get the certification of english as medium of instruction from the registrar. think it's just P20. It will depend on the VO if you need to take it or not. |

helo mavi,
i'm not sure regarding SPed teachers. pls check TeachNZ website.. I have to take the IELTs again til i can get a straight 7 in all levels..
as for now, i'm waiting for my ITA.. scheduled dis march..
if i can go there and be a part time teacher for a time being, then i will just register there...
lets pull all our trust to God.

do you have any idea re PAR? di kse namen sure ng BF ko kung lalagyan ren ng supporting qualification details or bachelor's degree nya, okay na? BSBA management graduate sya, he worked sa military ren and receives several schoolings dun. kailangan pa ba namen ilagay yun or hindi na? tnx po...
nagrequest naren ako certificate from my school & sana di na magIELTS...for now, nagtetake po ako MA SPED. ilang units palang pro un undergrad ko is related ren sa pagtuturo... so pede pala na dun na kumuha ng reg board sa NZ?
do you hav any idea ilan points po un selection ngayon? 140 paren ba? ..tnx... gud day! |

re: ielts & teacher registration
IELTs must all be straight 7 with nzqa result for elementary and secondary teachers. pls go to teachnz website for further clarifications
re: par
it should be one course at a time
re: eoi points
i've read that it was lowered to 100 pts. kindly check!!!
i am having a hard time entering their nz website.
hope i answered your inqueries. Btw, at what stage are you by dis time?

Under what category sa EOI yung Job offer if meron kasi yung BF ko may job offer na??? But, I am the principal applicant, pwede ba yun??? Nasa first stage pa lang kami. Mag PAR pa lang ang BF ko since ala sa list yung school niya... Pero ang nakakatuwa dun eh may job offer na siya imbes na ako... Tnx... |

hello po...this is mavi... i got my certificate of english from regstrar, buti alang pila for that, hehehe
nagPAR na yung BF ko and we're waiting for the result now...after nun, plan namen na isubmit na yung eoi...san pala isubmit yun if courier? wala kse kami credit/debit card kaya courier...
question po pala, once nasubmit na ba yung eoi, tas you want to edit it for possible additional points (like magpa-nzqa pa yung BF ko), possible ba na maedit yung eoi then iresubmit? if pwede, another payment na naman ba yun or yung fee lang sa courier?
