Hey all, I'm a native NZ'er heading south to go hiking in the Arthurs Pass National Park in early January 06 (approx 4th-11th). I'm reasonably experience hiker, currently going by myself but if theres anyone who's interested, some partners for all or part of the time would great. Planning on roughly following Avalanche Peak/Crow valley, Cass/Lagoon Saddle and Tarn Col/Walker Pass tracks, roughly in that order, but weather dependant. Would prefer people in their 20's, must have some tramping experience and be fairly fit. Will be some long days/hard walking involved.
Drop me a line if your interested, you'll need the basic gear (boots, pack etc..), but if your short of something I can probably get it. Look forward to hearing from you. |

Hi
I'm a bit late for your trip, but if your planning any more I am definately interested. I'm only just still in my 20's and will be available for the next few months. Last year I walked the Northern Circuit, Routeburn and Inland Pack Track.
