Mae....you truly are a sick person with no idea...I am a kiwi, born here along with the rest of my family, and I am thinking of dating a filipino girl who I may one day marry if I am lucky enough. I am 35 years old, with a healthy career in the health profession, earn a large salary...so I am hardly a "crusty old man".
I want a wife who will love me as much as I will love her, and not be a bitchy, demanding, stuck up, pathetic tart like yourself.
I am an easy going guy who has had bad luck with kiwi women, because they unfortunately have the ability to be totally wrong about things like yourself, and will not listen to any other side of the story.
Any filipino lady would be ten times the woman you could ever hope to be.
You are pathetic beyond words with opinions like yours.

Heard too many stories and all too familiar. I migrated here 18yrs ago, fall in love with NZ after holidaying in SI. Now out of job second time in 15yrs, this time in IT and still out of work almost 8months now.It is an adventure migrating to another country . My advice - move to another country for the right reason otherwise life can be very lonely. If you decide to mix with your own countrymen while in NZ and not the local kiwis you might as well stay at home.

Hey Canadian brother...good to hear people like you voice out your racial discrimination concerns in strong words than in absusive languages...well no offence to the Filipinos who would have shown their disgust because its quite understandable when your esteem is hurt...Mae brother your living in the 21st century...lets not stop growth...globalization is fast catching up with the world and u need to grow with it...don't u???
anyway peace with u all...iam an Indian whose been on the recieving end of racial discriminatory issues when I grew up in the Middle East...but today I feel for those people too of any nationality whose hurt by racial words...New Zealand's a peaceful country and lets keep it a peaceful one forever....Peace..

Mae, may you have a clearer mind.
I'm a Filipino, I felt bad about your writing. My family is planning to migrate in New Zealand. Hope people there are not like MAE. Well, good luck and peace people.
Cheers!
