Really friendly owners who where very helpful (even got up early at 6am to open the bar so us footy fans could watch the champions league final), very clean, comfy beds and close to town. we found accents on the park rude and unprofessional to deal with.we had booked a dorm room and they had confirmed it so we gave them our credit card details.they then changed their mind, as we werent all going to be staying the whole time, therefore cancelling our reservation and leaving us in the lurch with no accomodation.the guy who runs it is RUDE

Extremely clean kitchen/bathrooms, and great decoration throughout. The service is also surprisingly helpful. Location is walking distance to many major spots in Nelson. Best place to stay in NZ for sure!

How do they do it? Beautifully restored building,super clean facilities, a bar and all the mod cons you could want at very resonable rates. Jane and I stayed in a double room with wash basin. Great bed and nice linen.We have paid this rate for dorms elsewhere. Super place!
