A really beautiful hostel that has a B&B feel. The owners are lovely, the rooms and bathrooms are spotless with the most comfortable beds in NZ! If all that was not enough the views from the hostel are amazing, right on the beach... just sit and watch the sunset.

The only problem with the hostel is that it is a good 20 minute drive from Wellington, but if you have a car and want to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city, you can do far worse than stay at Moana Lodge.
