I was part of a group of 6 people that stayed then night of Weds 23 Feb 2005 at Picton Lodge. We were plesantly surprised to find a mini bus awaiting us to take us back to the hostel. The owners were more then accommodating to drop off another two people to another hotel that were not able to get into the hostel for the night. The facilities are wonderful the only thing that put me off was the train track next door and the continious noise of trains being moved throughout the night. I couldnt get to sleep and by the sounds of the rest of the guests that night neither did some others. The owners are friendly and safety concious but if you dont like niose I wouldn't stay here. Shame really as the place is kept clean and tidy.
