This has to be the funkiest hostel in the area.

Dispite the fact that Greymouth is far from a tourists paradice, Noah's Ark Backpackers is by far the nicest hostel I staying in during my stay in NZ. It had a lovely friendly, relaxed athmosphere & the place was full of personality with its beautiful themed rooms and friendly staff.

Fun, friendly, stayed over Christmas, party at the police station, townspeople put on Christmas Day dinner for backpackers and others. Greymouth green stone super to view, hostel clean, super kitchen, love the animal themes and painting and huge fire place.

I intended on stopping only for the night, but found it so friendly and warm! The staff were so helpful in guiding me on what to do and see. So I ended up staying 3 days. I tell all people to stay here. Hey check out the sheep room... Its so cool.
