hekerua made my backpacking experience so special, the warm atmosphere from the staff and mark (the owner)...well it was home, you ultimately become hekerua as soon as u arrive...ull make friends forever!we all used to chip in, n some1 wud cook for evry1 each nite, even mark who is an excellent cook by the way!the chilled out music, candles, ferrylights make your time here flow! get here!!!thanx hekerua!ill b back!!!

This place is revolting!!! The rooms, bathrooms, pool and kitchen were all very dirty. Nice place to stay if like noise all night and dont mind sharing your room with the coachroaches. Such a shame because it is in a very nice quiet bush location within close walking distance to the beach.

fun friendly and fantastic!great place to meet people..travellers and locals!great atmosphere so warm and inviting...hard to leave..make it your 1st stop or your last, i made both!!!highly recomended.
